Introduction
AuroraDocs is an offline-first workspace for notes, tasks, and structured docs. Your workspace works locally first, with sync as an opt-in.
What can I do with AuroraDocs?
- Write — rich pages with headings, tables, code, callouts, math, toggles, and other block types.
- Organize — databases with table/list/gallery/board/timeline views, plus dedicated task views.
- Connect — backlinks, block references, and graph navigation.
- Collaborate — shared workspaces, roles, comments, chat, and live presence.
- Protect data — optional per-workspace E2EE (AES-256-GCM).
Where do I start?
- Pick a path:
- Web — sign up at app.auroradocs.eu using your invite code, or stay account-free with a local-only browser workspace.
- Desktop — install the desktop app. On first launch the onboarding hub asks whether you want AuroraCloud, a new Offline folders workspace, or to reopen an existing Aurora folder.
- Create a workspace — give it a name. Storage modes are explained in Sync & storage.
- Create your first page — click + New object in the sidebar.
- Start writing. Press
/to open the block menu.
Try AuroraDocs
You can try AuroraDocs in the hosted web app without an account by choosing Browser storage. AuroraCloud sync accounts are still invite-gated; request an invite at auroradocs.eu when you want cloud sync, sharing, and collaboration.
